Xiryn:The open-source personal agent.
Everything Muse, Grok Bot and Dots do. On your own computer.
Real recording
Ask for anything. Atlas is finding nonstop flights right now.
On its own computer. You never see a cursor move.
Your laptop stays yours. No cursor taking over.
Your agent gets its own computer. A Linux desktop, in Docker.
Then it brings the answer back. Right to your screen.
New · Routines
It works while you sleep. Say it once. It happens every day.
A news brief at 7, job alerts on weekdays, a price check every evening. Agents run them on their own, on your computer, and tell you when they're done.
Just ask. In plain words, in any chat.
Done. I'll send you new roles every weekday at 9.
Any schedule. In your own time zone.
Runs in the background. No browser, no terminal.
Hear back when it's done. On your desktop, in the app and on Telegram.
Remote control
Message it from anywhere in the world. Right from Telegram.
Approve with one tap. Nothing is paid until you say so.
Or take over its screen. Tap and type on its desktop, from your phone.
Privacy
Xiryn has no accounts and no servers. Your conversations, memory and keys live in one file on your disk. Logins and cards are encrypted, with a key your computer holds. Even the agents' machines run on your computer. Nothing leaves unless you send it — and with a local model, not even your prompts do.
Private by design.
Highlights
A whole crew of agents. Each with its own job, its own model and its own machine.
Any model. Your keys, no subscription.
Eleven providers. Including local ones, so not even your prompts leave.
Squads. Ask any agent; it hands the job to whoever fits.

Long-term memory. It remembers what matters. You can read and edit every note.

Talk to it. Speech is recognised in your browser.
Close the tab. It keeps going.
It tells you when it's done.
Disposable machines. Reset an agent and its desktop is gone. Its memory stays.

⌘K. Every agent, thread and setting, one keystroke away.

New · Templates
Sixteen agents, ready to go. Pick one, change anything, deploy.

New · Local models
Free to run. No API key needed.
Add --local and the setup installs Ollama, downloads a model that fits your computer and makes it every agent's default. Nothing you say leaves your machine, and nothing is billed.
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/SouravBeraAkaSpeed/xiryn/main/setup.sh | bash -s -- --localAlready set up? Run npm run setup:local in the Xiryn folder, or download models in Settings → Local models.
One command. A model sized to your memory.
Set a budget. For the paid ones.
Paid models pause when it's reached.
Know what every reply costs. Priced as it runs, added up by day, model and agent.
Your vault, your approval
It can pay for you. Only when you say yes.
Save a card or a login once. Your agent uses it without ever seeing it — and only after you approve, in the app or with one tap on Telegram.
Wants to pay — nothing is paid until you choose

Encrypted on your disk.
AES-256-GCM, with the key held by your operating system — Keychain, DPAPI or the Secret Service.
Never seen by the agent.
It gets “Visa ···· 4242”. Xiryn types the card into the page itself and shows the field as dots.
Only on the right site.
A login fills only on its own site; an approved card only where you approved it.
Compare
Same idea. Different owner. You.
Every major lab now ships a personal agent that works on a cloud computer. Xiryn gives you the same thing — open, on your machine, with your keys.
Based on public launch coverage as of October 2026. These products move fast — corrections welcome.
Free and open source
Get Xiryn. One command. About five minutes.
You need a Mac, Windows or Linux computer with about 4 GB free, and a key for one model provider. The setup does the rest.
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/SouravBeraAkaSpeed/xiryn/main/setup.sh | bashSet up
One command installs Git, Node.js and Docker if they're missing, and builds the agents' desktop.
Add a key
Paste a key from any model provider into Settings — or skip it: --local sets up free models on your computer.
Start
cd xiryn && npm run dev — or npm run background to keep it running — then open 127.0.0.1:6796.
Prefer doing it by hand? Follow the README.
Questions? Answers.
Xiryn is a free, open-source personal AI agent that runs on your own computer. It does what Muse, Grok Bot and Dots do — browses the web, researches, writes and runs code, fills forms and pays with your approval — but each agent works on its own Linux desktop in Docker, so it never interrupts you, and your data never leaves your machine.
